The main complain about this book is that it announces procedural vídeos and they are few and without explanatory narrative.
Part I - pâncreas and biliary tract is very good: good explicative figures and very good contents.
Part ii - Liver has repeatead figures at page 304; pictures (photos) that are not so clear and change of segments at the sixth line at page 217 and at figure 17-10.
Despite these observations i would buy this book again

I do not know Dave Turner. I did not give birth to him or give birth to any of his children. I got his first book as a free download and read it on vacation last year. I preordered Paper Cuts (How To Be Dead Book 2)so that it would appear on my Kindle the moment that the file became available because I just loved How to Be Dead THAT much.

So what did I like so much about Paper Cuts (How To Be Dead Book 2)? Marry Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett and their offspring will be Dave Turner. Turner’s fiction is the world underneath ours that the average person simply can’t see. Death occupies an office in a fairly upscale part of town and shares space with monkeys writing on typewriters recently rewarded with a major studio deal. Turner’s clever humor is breathtaking.

That Death and his cohorts decide that they’re not going to play the game of a man they’ve never met was intriguing. When the world does seem to be ending, it could be the work of their frenemy, Beelzebub.

If you like social commentary presented in a clever package, fantasy or authors like Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett or Douglas Adams, pick this novel up immediately if not sooner. You will not regret the purchase.

Fun and entertaining

More like 4.5, but I'm a little picky.
I'd never heard of this author before this series, it was a really pleasant surprise to discover him.
The characters are fun, the plot a little predictable and slow but very well written so you don't really mind. Also the dialog and banter are engaging and entertaining, and there were enough interesting clever ideas/twists to keep things going.
I have read this and the previous book, and would be happy to see (and buy, and read) another installment in the series.
Reminiscient of A Lee Martinez (and a little of Terry Pratchett), if your a fan definitely give this a go.

Immensely entertaining

This book and its predecessor are the best books I have read in a long while. I was reminded of Douglas Adams and Terry Pratchett, but with a slightly more practical side. I had a very difficult time putting them down and read much later into the night than I should have. I look forward to the third book in this series, it really cannot come out soon enough!

Good but annoying

INformation is good but it is spread out through out the book. Lot of information is on the online links so it is a hassell to go back and forth between the book and the computer to get all the information. The online link also logs you off periodically so its annoying to keep on going back and logging in after short periods.

Delving deep into the travaux preparatoires of each of the fundamental legal instruments, the author analyses their evolution, spanning humanitarian law, human rights law, criminal law, and other aspects of public law, including peace agreements and action plans developed with armed groups and forces. He provides a particular focus on and in-depth analysis of the Lubanga case, and its implications for other components of transitional justice. The findings highlight arguments for placing child recruitment firmly on the transitional justice agenda. By considering child recruitment against a transitional justice framework, the book allows a detailed understanding of the distinct but complementary components - rule of law, criminal justice, historical justice, reparatory justice, institutional justice, and participatory justice - and reveals the untapped potential in interactions between different areas of transitional justice. About the author Bo Viktor Nylund is a protection and legal practitioner who has focused on state and non-state actor responsibility and accountability throughout his career. Bo Viktor has Masters degrees in law and political science from Columbia University Law School and Abo Akademi University and a PhD in international law from the Geneva Graduate Institute for International Studies.
