The book correctly highlights a ubiquitous but important trend in most areas of hedge funds which is the growing use of technology. This is particularly important in an area like compliance. The discussions on how regulators and hedge funds both use technology to impact their compliance efforts was quite insightful. Also, I hadn’t realized the increasing involvement of compliance with cybersecurity efforts -- particularly considering all the hacking in the news these days. Interesting, detail oriented book clearly laid out. A good read.
